The Grand Canyon is a remarkable rocky gorge situated within the majestic Wonderland Range of the Grampians National Park. 

This 900m circuit walk offers spectacular scenery and and a seasonal waterfall. As you make your way through the gorge alongside the beautiful creek, you pass a series of small cascades before reaching a tall, narrow waterfall at the end. 


The Grand Canyon Walk

The walk begins at the Wonderland Carpark, which is the starting point for many fantastic walks including Splitters Falls, Venus Baths, The Pinnacle and Turret Falls.

Grand Canyon Loop Walk
  • Distance: 900 m circuit
  • Difficulty: Moderate. This is a short walk but stairs are extremely steep at the end of the gorge, like ladders.
  • Starting point: Wonderland Carpark
  • Return to the carpark via the signed track, which offers scenic views as you descend the rocky hillside.
  • Alternatively, continue on from Grand Canyon to the The Pinnacle Lookout, passing Cool ChamberBridal Veil Falls and Silent Street along the way.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT GRAND CANYON?


Water flows reliably during the wetter months, but the Grampians' Grand Canyon is definitely worth visiting regardless of water levels.

Are dogs allowed at Grand Canyon?

No, dogs are not permitted at Grand Canyon.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Grampians National Park except within vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed parking areas.
