Wannon Crossing Campground lies 35 km from Halls Gap within a forested area alongside the Wannon River. 

Grassy clearings are set among a dense carpet of pretty undergrowth, with gorgeous mountain views dominating the horizon. 


With sealed road access suitable for all vehicles, close proximity to walks in the Southern Grampians and a short drive from the Victoria Valley, this small campground is a great place to stay while you explore the area. 

Visitor facilities at Wannon Crossing Campground


Wannon Crossing Campground features fire pits with barbecue plates, picnic tables, non-flush toilet, and a water tank/tap (not for drinking, seasonal water level). 

Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces, please bring your own fire wood.

There are no rubbish collection facilities at this campground - please take all rubbish with you.

Wannon Crossing Campground offers 6 tent campsites with adjacent vehicle parking, and 1 drive-in site for camper trailers, caravans, campervans and larger tents. All sites are unpowered.

Are dogs allowed at Wannon Crossing Campground?

No, dogs are not permitted at Wannon Crossing Campground.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Grampians National Park except within vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed parking areas.
