Set within an old Radiata Pine forest on the eastern edge of the Mount Difficult Range, Plantation Campground is a spacious free campground with excellent visitor facilities and a beautiful setting. 

Plantation Campground is located close to Halls Gap, Heatherlie Quarry, Beehive Falls, and is an easy drive to the walks, picnic areas and Aboriginal rock art in the Northern Grampians.

Plantation Campground features fire pits with barbecue plates, picnic tables, non-flush toilets, bush showers, and a water tank/tap (not for drinking, seasonal water level).

Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces, please bring your own fire wood.

There are no rubbish collection facilities at this campground - please take all rubbish with you.


Campsites available at Plantation Campground

Plantation Campground offers 30 campsites for tents, camper trailers, caravans, and campervans. All sites are unpowered. Maximum of 6 people per site.

Do you need to book at Plantation Campground?

No bookings or fees are required for camping at Plantation Campground. This campground is on a 'first in first served' basis. 

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT THE PLANTATION CAMPGROUND? 

Dogs are allowed at the Plantation Campground, but must be on a lead. 

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Grampians National Park except within vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed parking areas. 

The Plantation Campgrounds lies just outside the Grampians National Park.
