Take a stroll through the beautifully decorated Halls Gap Botanic Gardens, learn about the native plants of the area, and browse the huge array of unique art installations scattered among the trees.


The Halls Gap Botanic Gardens are a must-see, particularly if you are visiting with children - they will love the adorable sculptures, the gigantic nest (complete with ladder to climb in), the boardwalk, and the many information signs throughout the garden.

Several fantastic walking tracks start here, including the spectacular Venus Baths walk. 

Venus Baths

Venus Baths are one of the Grampians National Park's most unique and stunning attractions, where Stoney Creek flows over a beautiful sandstone shelf, creating gorgeous pools of flowing water with sloping stone walls either side. There are two tracks leading to Venus Baths from here, one on either side of Stoney Creek. One track begins from the gate at the back of the Botanic Gardens, and the other begins just over the bridge alongside the grave of Agnes Folkes.

No, dogs are not permitted at the Halls Gap Botanical Garden.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Grampians National Park except within vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed parking areas.
